Standard Delivery Information
We deliver throughout mainland UK. If you prefer you can order online and collect from our Glasgow store. Our standard UK delivery for doors is a fully trackable 24-72 hour service to your front door. Between 8 am and 8 pm (excludes weekends & bank holidays).
Please note ALL deliveries are kerbside delivery only, so you will need to be available to receive your order, this goes with our own deliveries and third-party carriers and suppliers. This prevents any liabilities.

Special Doors Delivery? XL Joinery, Deanta, JB Kind or LPD
Special Doors Order means if you purchase any doors from our Third-Party Suppliers XL Joinery, Deanta, JB Kind, and LPD Doors, these doors are not in stock within our store and will need to be specially ordered after purchase, these will always be booked the same day if placed before 4.00 pm, we will notify you by email once placed and next steps.
Special Doors Order Delivery?
Third-Party Supplier’s doors, normally take 5-7 days to reach our store, we will notify you of delivery as soon as they are in-store and quality checked.
For orders delivered by our Shawfield Timber trucks, we will quality-check the doors and then notify you the day on or before about your delivery. Please be available to accept the order, if you need to re-arrange the delivery please let us know the most suitable date. Any customer not available for delivery after we have been in contact will need to pay an additional delivery charge for every attempt, this will be disclosed in an email.
We will send a tracking email if it’s being delivered with one of our external courier companies, please see the Courier Deliveries section for full details.
We may send your order directly from the supplier if it’s if this is the case again we will notify you of this by email. Suppliers intend to deliver orders within 3-5 working days to our customers and each supplier has their own dispatch rules so please keep this in mind when waiting for your order, we will provide any contact details in case you wish to contact them, we will provide them all your contact information so they can organize the delivery direct to you. They will contact you about delivery.
I’ve placed an order, should I book joiners?
No. Don’t book joiners, builders or tradespeople before the goods arrive. No charges can be made to Shawfield Doors for late, damaged delivery and delays to a project. We do our best to get your items to you as soon as possible. However, some of our products are sourced directly from the supplier, so they may take a little longer to be delivered. If for any reason we are unable to fulfill your order we will contact you as soon as possible. Where we fail to deliver or delivery is delayed, we will not be liable for any losses that are not reasonable or proportionate.
How will I know when my doors have been despatched and are scheduled for delivery?
Subject to items lead-time/availability. We aim to despatch the same business day for all orders paid and processed before 2 pm. Orders after 2 pm, on the weekend, or on a bank holiday are dispatched the next business day. Subject to stock, weight, and size of order. If you included a valid mobile number you will be contacted when your order is scheduled for delivery with an estimated arrival time.
I missed my scheduled delivery time or won’t be available to sign for delivery.
If nobody is available to sign for the parcel. The delivery driver will return it to the depot and leave you a missed delivery card. Delivery will normally be attempted the next working day. You can rearrange delivery for another more suitable day. By calling the number shown on the card.
Please be aware, we will always contact you about your delivery, if you are not going to be available please notify us asap so as not to incur another delivery charge on a 3rd attempt.
Which courier company will be delivering my doors?
Our UK delivery partners are TNT (UK) Tuffnells, DX & Bullet, and your consignment is tracked. They deliver straight to your front door, where possible. Delivery lead time is 24-72 hours from dispatch – Same Day Dispatch before 2.00 pm. Please be aware that some of our doors have individual lead times associated with them. If you are ordering several doors your order will normally be despatched when ready on a next day pallet service with Bullet Express.
Shawfield Doors is not liable for all deliveries made by external companies. We will not be held responsible for any refunds or compensation due to goods being held up in transit due to breakdowns, traffic problems, driver hours running out, or any other reason. We never pay compensation for delivery days missed or goods being delivered late.
Always check your delivery before signing for them. Please refuse delivery of any damaged items and notify us within 72 hours, please send images if you have accepted the order to email@example.com and let us know if you wish for a refund or replacement, once the original order is returned we will process either a replacement (pending stock) and/or a refund, any visible damage must be detailed and noted clearly by you on both your copy and the delivery driver’s copy at the time of receipt on the Delivery/Receipt Note for any claim to be entertained. As couriers will mark a delivery as successful and undamaged if you accept the order.
Please be available to accept the delivery, we will only attempt once and your order will be returned to us for a full refund, if you wish to place the order again you will need to do so with the related shipping costs again.
Whilst we stock a huge number of products here within our own warehouse, we also order products from suppliers, meaning they may be dispatched via the supplier on a direct home delivery service. You will always be notified if this is the case. Postage costs and delivery time frames do vary by location and products ordered also.

How do I track my delivery?
You can track each consignment separately using the link on your despatch email. Your order may be despatched in more than one parcel and arrive at different times and on different days so please remember to track each one separately.

Collecting from the store:
You are unable to track these. Stock item orders are ready to collect, 2 hours after purchase. We will email you about the collection for orders that we hold in store, if it’s a Special Door Order, we will call you after the door has been received to store and quality checked. If any delays are expected and you have provided a mobile number with your order you will receive a call. Ordering after 2 pm for same-day collect? Please call the store on 0141 613 2333 to confirm.
What do I do if I haven’t received all of my order?
- Please check your confirmation email to see if all the products were ordered.
- Remove all packaging to confirm the product isn’t hidden, pieces may be contained in a secure wedge to protect from transit damage.
- Some orders will be despatched in separate consignments and we’ll send you an email to update you if this happens as the parcels may arrive at different times (orders despatched directly from supplier).
